Team Requirements

Age Classification: Under 19 as of December 31, 2026(Year of birth: 2008 or later)
Team Size: 3 Males, 3 Females, 1 Coach, 1 Manager
​Coach: Jeremy Lehr​
Jeremy Lehr will be leading the team as head coach in 2027. This will be his second Canada Games as head coach for the Team NL table tennis team as he was head coach in CWG23 in PEI. He is currently 26 years old and will be 28 years of age at the time of the Games. He participated in CWG15 in Prince George, BC as an athlete, while he was one of the top provincial junior players. Currently Jeremy is a teacher with NL Schools and spends much of his free time coaching at the school and provincial level. He previously completed a bachelor’s of physical education and a bachelor’s of education at MUN. He looks forward to picking the top 3 males and females in the province to compete at these games in Quebec City and experience all the games have to offer with the team!
Manager: Divine Aseo
Divine Aseo will be the team manager for the Canada Games 2027 in Québec City. This will be her first time as a manager for the Team NL Table Tennis team. Divine is currently 19 years old, and she will be 21 years old by the time of the games. She participated in the Canada Winter Games 2023 in Prince Edward Island as an athlete as she is one of the top junior players in the province. Divine is currently in her first year at Memorial University of Newfoundland, and she spends her Thursdays and Saturdays leading the training sessions for the junior athletes. She previously went to Ottawa to participate in Table Tennis Canada Women Coaches Mentorship. She’s looking forward to helping the head coach pick the top 3 male and female athletes in the province and help them improve to perform their best in Québec City. She also wants the athletes to have a safe, enjoyable and unforgettable experience competing at the games.
