2023 Atlantic Table Tennis Championships

Newfoundland and Labrador Table Tennis Association is pleased to be hosting the 2023 Atlantic Table Tennis Championships from May 20-21, 2023.  The two day event will be held at the Rotary Paradise Youth & Community Center located at 1 Sarah Davis Way, Paradise, NL.

Over 90 athletes from Prince Edward Island, Nova Scotia, New Brunswick and Newfoundland and Labrador are expected to participate in 25 events including rated singles, age singles, doubles, mixed doubles and the Team event in Junior and Senior categories

UPDATE May 18, 2023, 7:30 PM: Schedule of events updated.

UPDATE May 17, 2023: We are looking for some volunteers for assisting in setting up the gym on Friday at 6:00 PM.  After the setup is complete the gym is open for practice.

The draws should be available on this website after they are completed on May 12.

UPDATE April 20, 2023

There has been a change in the eligibility requirements. The tournament is open only to permanent residents living in the Atlantic Provinces for at least 6 months.

UPDATE April 11, 2023

Change in the eligibility requirements for entering the Atlantics. Previously, players had to be Canadian citizens or permanent residents, with at least six (6) months residence in Atlantic Canada for the period immediately preceding the first day of the Championships. The change is that now, some events are open to permanent residents with less than six months in Atlantic Canada as well as non-permanent residents:

Age-restricted singles: U-15, U-21, 21-39, 40+, 50+, 60+

Rating-restricted singles: B, C, D

Rating-restricted doubles: B

UPDATE: April 9, 2023

There is a correction regarding 40+, 50+ and 60+ Singles Age events:

Players aged 60+ may enter 40+ and 50+ events and Players aged 50+ may enter the 40+ event.

Info sheet has been updated to reflect change in B Doubles rating points requirement.

UPDATE: April 4, 2023

There was an error in the B Doubles rating requirement. It should read B Doubles (U-3000) ie It should be 3000 combined points not 2800.
