UPDATE MARCH 24, 2023:

Regrettably, with the pending significant snowfall and winds forecast for Paradise and the Avalon this evening and tomorrow the NL Closed scheduled for tomorrow, March 25 has been postponed.

We have been able to make arrangements to reschedule this event for next Saturday, April 1, but it will now be taking place at Carbonear Collegiate in Carbonear due to the gym in Paradise not being available for booking for the foreseeable future (our original booking for this weekend was made last summer). We understand that not everyone who registered for the event this weekend will be able to participate in the rescheduled event. For anyone in this situation we will issue refunds. Please email vp-admin@nltta.com to let me know you are unable to make the rescheduled event. If you are registered and will still be attending the rescheduled event you do not need to do anything. We have also decided that we will reopen registration on Trackie until this Sunday evening in case there was anyone who could not play on the original date but can now play the rescheduled event.

We are very disappointed to have to reschedule this event. It was looking like it was going to be the biggest event we have hosted in at least 10 years. However, with the forecast we felt we were left with little choice. We hope that most people will still be able to make the rescheduled event next weekend on Saturday, April 1.

The NLTTA is pleased to announce the NL Closed Tables Tennis Championships is taking place March 25, 2023 at the Rotary Youth and Community Center in Paradise, NL. The tournament will have Rated Singles, Age Singles, Junior and Senior Team NL Qualifiers and Rated Doubles.

Each player is eligible to register for up to 3 events:

  1. Ratings (A,B,C,D,E)
  2. Age Senior Singles (Female 19+, U-40, 40+, Sen. Team Qual.) or Age Junior Singles (U-15, U-19)
  3. Rated Doubles (A,B,C)

Due to some confusion with the registration we have removed and refunded the players who have registered and made changes to the registration setup.

Here's the procedure for entering three events.

After you have entered your personal information on the registration page, at the bottom you will see an "Event" pull-down box and a "Category" pull-down box. Here you pick your first event and corresponding category (ex. Rated Singles - B Singles).

Right below that there is the "+ Add Event" option. Click on it to enter a second event using the same procedure as above (ex. Age Junior Singles - Under 19).

See the screenshots below for assistance.
