The Western Open, the first tournament of the 2024-25 season, was hosted by Jakeman All Grade School in Trout River. The tournament had 40 athletes competing in age and ratings events.
The first tournament of the season saw lots of competitive spirit on display and a big shout out to the many first time players in attendance representing all areas of the province. There were twelve events including rated singles, age events and Team NL qualifying events which provided an excellent day of table tennis.
