Designed to generate participation in sport, foster sportsmanship and develop athletic skills, the Newfoundland and Labrador Games is considered by some participants to be the highlight of their sporting experiences.
2024 NL Winter Games

The 2024 NL Winter Games were held in Gander from February 24 - March 2 with table tennis taking place during the first half of the games from Feb. 24 - 27, 2024. Table Tennis competition consisted of Team and Individual events over 3 days of competition. Each region were led ed by one coach and one manager (opposite genders from one another).
Teams from each of the provincial regions consisted of
2 male and 2 female "Junior" (Birth years 2006 - 2012)
2 male and 2 female "Youth" (Birth years 2009 - 2012)
Athletes shall be at least 11 years of age as of January 1st, 2024 and no older than18 years of age by December 31, 2024.

Gander, Appleton, Glenwood, Benton and Gander Bay (this includes the Riverwood School). The Host Team is defined on a Games-by-Games basis by SportNL in consultation with the Host Committee; final decision rests with SportNL.
Players from Gander and the surrounding Host region are eligible to try out for the Central Team as there will be no Host Team for Table Tennis.
