The 2022-23 Season was the first season with a full slate of events since the pandemic began in March 2020. The season stated in September with a Charity event and concluded in late May with the much anticipated Atlantic Table Tennis Championships, hosted by the Newfoundland and Labrador Table Tennis Association. In the middle of the NLTTA season(February 2022) the 2023 PEI Canada Games was held in which the Association sent a six member team that consisted of four athletes, a coach and manager. The season saw many fine performances from both Junior and Senior players. A total of four qualifying tournaments, Paradise Open, Eastern Open, CBN Open and NL Closed, were held in which to earn points to be selected for the Junior and Senior teams to compete in the team event at the Atlantic Table Tennis Championships. 2023-24 Season Fast Approaching
There is no doubt the 2022-23 season was an exciting one culminating in the Atlantic Table Tennis Championships and as we all enjoy the summer weather, just a reminder that the upcoming 2023-24 season is just around the corner.
