Busy start to the season

The table tennis scene has been quite busy this fall with the 2027 Canada Games coaches having held two selection camps and a couple of NLTTA sanctioned tournaments. Two tournaments have been completed and a third is slated for early November.

The Central Open held September 20, 2025 in Conne River, was the first event of the season and was followed three weeks later by the Paradise Open, which had over 60 participants. For more detailed results visit the Tournament Results page. Both tournaments were well attended by Juniors who are eyeing a spot on the Canada Games roster as the selection process is underway for the 2027 Quebec Games.
As previously alluded to, the next tournament is the Eastern Open which is slated for November 8, 2025 in Lethbridge at Heritage Collegiate. The October 31 registration deadline is fast approaching so be sure to head on over to the Eastern Open Registration Portal to get your registration in!
Canada Games 2027

The selection process for the Quebec games are well underway with a second tryout camp just completed in Hopedale on October 4, 2025. Jeremy Lehr and Divine Aseo, the CG 2027 Coaches, along with Jiaqi Mu conducted the training sessions. Be sure to read the excellent article written by Divine about her experience. Training opportunities for Juniors
Are you a Junior athlete interested in Tables Tennis? Trying to get some training in for the School Sports NL - Varsity table tennis schedule? There is a wonderful opportunity to do all this and the Paradise Table Tennis Club is the place to be. Jiaqi Mu, one of the top players in the province, in conjunction with the Paradise Table Tennis Club, is offering training and learning opportunities.

The Junior training sessions run from 7:00 - 8:30 pm during the regular club night activities on Mondays at the Rotary Paradise Youth and Community Centre.
