Divine Aseo Receives Athletic Award

Updated: Oct 30, 2023

Our very own Divine Aseo was presented with one of the Premier's Athletic Awards on October 4, 2023. Dr. Andrew Furey, Premier of Newfoundland and Labrador, presented awards to 126 young athletes from across the province at the 19th annual Premier’s Athletic Awards. The awards program recognizes athletic excellence and provides financial support to help offset the costs of training and competition.

Divine has represented the province at the 2022 Atlantic Table Tennis Championships, 2023 Atlantic Table Tennis Championships (three individual Gold Medals and helping her Team NL teammates capture Gold in the Junior Female Team event) and the 2023 Canada Winter Games. The NLTTA applauds her on her dedication and wishes her the best of luck in her table tennis journey. Keep up the excellent work.

First Tournament In The Books

We are now a couple of months into the 2023-24 season and the first NLTTA tournament of the season, the MUN Open, was held on Saturday September 30, 2023. The tournament had over 45 athletes competing in a variety of events that produced an action packed day of Table Tennis.
