Behind the Scenes

Did you know that the NLTTA has some fantastic people working behind the scenes to help the organization grow the sport.

First up are a trio of gentlemen that fill the Executive roles of the NLTTA. The executive is comprised of Barry Hicks(President), Kenny Curlew(VP-Admin) and Merv Greenham(VP-Technical). Even though they are not always visible that does not mean they are not busy. The behind the scenes work never ends dealing with tournament schedules, Sport NL and Table Tennis Canada business, facilitating Newfoundland Labrador's presence at the Atlantic Table Tennis Championships and no doubt numerous other items to help the sport in Newfoundland and Labrador. Barry and Kenny recently were in Gander for the NL Winter Games where they were handling the running of the table tennis competition at the Games.

Also behind the scenes, serving as NLTTA Officers, are Harrison Lamswood(Secretary) and Nicole Curlew(Treasurer). A big thank you to both for their contribution to the NLTTA.

Have you visited our Media Gallery? If not, you have missed some great photos from recent table tennis tournaments. You might have noticed someone running around like a chicken, well that would be Peter Quinlan. He has taken some great photos for the NLTTA which can be viewed at our Media Gallery page. Why not check out the page and the numerous action photos taken by Peter. Besides being the "Unofficial Photographer" of the Newfoundland and Labrador Table Tennis Association, Peter is sort of a "jack of all trades" at NLTTA tournaments, helping set up tables, being a gopher for the executive working the control desk and most importantly coaching his son Peter. The NLTTA executive extends a big thank to Peter for his invaluable contribution.
